Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:3.1 To Relieve The Needs Of Patients And Former Patients Of The Hospital, Who Are In Need Of Such Assistance Due To Their Health Condition Or Disability, Including By, But Not Limited To, Grant Funding The Supply Of Essential Hospital Equipment, By Providing Grants To Cover Patient Expenses Which Arise From Or In Connection With Their Health Condition Or Disability, And Through Providing Advice And Support To Preserve And Protect The Physical And Mental Wellbeing Of Patients, Former Patients And Hospital Staff.3.2 To Advance The Education Of The Public, Patients And Former Patients, And Health Professionals In Orthopaedic Health And Rheumatic Disease (Or In Those Other Areas In Which The Hospital Specialises) Including By, But Not Limited To, Grant Funding Research Into Innovative Treatments, Therapies And Improvements In Healthcare And Through Supporting The Dissemination Of Such Research To The General Public, Patents, Healthcare Workers, And Other Staff.
