Activities

United Communities works nationally to support local schools in becoming active contributors to community life. We enable and connect a network of school-linked community hubs, steward community building practice, share learning, and provide tools, training, and frameworks to help schools open their spaces, build trust, and nurture inclusive participation, belonging, and local action.

Objects: 3.1 The Objects Of The Charity Are, For The Public Benefit:3.1.1 To Advance The Education Of Young People And Adults;3.1.2 To Develop The Capacity And Skills Of The Members Of Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Communities In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify, And Help Meet, Their Needs And To Participate More Fully In Society; And3.1.3 To Relieve Those In Need By Reason Of Youth, Age, Ill Health, Disability, Financial Hardship Or Other Disadvantage, In Particular But Not Exclusively To:(a) Enable Young People To Be Better Able To Engage With Their Education; And(b) Support Families And Other Members Of The Community In Physical, Mental Or Economic Need,by Providing Access To Extra-Curricular Activities That Support Children's Education In The School Environment And To Such Other Activities, Resources, Information And Support As The Trustees May From Time To Time Determine.
