The EMVA charity was set up to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for education, recreation mental and physical health and wellbeing. The charity creates a living community-centered space that promotes remembrance, environmental stewardship and public wellbeing. By planting and caring for trees, EVMA fosters a landscape that symbolises growth, memory, and continuity for generations.

Objects: The Objects Of The Charity (‘The Objects’) Are:1.for The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Emsworth In Hampshire And Westbourne In West Sussex (“The Area Of Benefit”) To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities For Education, Recreation, Mental And Physical Health And Wellbeing, And Other Leisure Time Occupation In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life For The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit In Particular But Not Exclusively By The Establishment And Maintenance Of An Arboretum Known As Ems Valley Memorial Arboretum
