**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN SRI LANKA, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE ATTENDING JAFFNA HINDU COLLEGE AND THOSE CHILDREN LIVING IN IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES PRIMARILY THROUGH:A) PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS TO CHILDREN TO COVER SCHOOL FEES, EXTRA LESSONS, AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL EXPENSES WHO COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THEM;B) PROVIDING ESSENTIAL LEARNING RESOURCES, SUCH AS LIBRARY BOOKS, DIGITAL TOOLS (INCLUDING TABLETS, COMPUTERS, AND INTERACTIVE TOUCH SCREENS), AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL AIDS TO ENHANCE STUDENTS LEARNING EXPERIENCES; C) PROVIDING FUNDING FOR ADDITIONAL TEACHERS AND SUPPLEMENTARY CLASSES IN KEY SUBJECTS; AND D) PROMOTING PHYSICAL EDUCATION BY PROVIDING SPORTS, PLAY AND LEISURE EQUIPMENT TO EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES; E) SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.

**Activities:** The objects of the CIO being for the public benefit are to advance the education of children and young people in Sri Lanka, in particular but not exclusively those attending Jaffna Hindu College and those children living in impoverished communities primarily through: a) Providing scholarships and grants to children to cover school fees, extra lessons, and other educational expenses....
