**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF BOWERDEAN AND MAPLEDEAN NURSERY SCHOOL (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE SCHOOL") BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL, RECREATIONAL AND OTHER CHARITABLE FACILITIES IN AUGMENTATION OF SUCH FACILITIES FINANCED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY. IN FURTHERNANCE OF THIS OBJECT BUT NOT FURTHER OR OTHERWISE THE TRUSTEES MAY UNDERTAKE ACTIVITIES WHICH PROMOTE THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE SCHOOL AND FURTHER THE EDUCATION AND ADVANCEMENT IN LIFE OF THE PUPILS.

**Activities:** At Bowerdean Nursery we believe that through play children can practice skills and come to understandand make sense of the world around them. We believe that it is important for children to be active in theirown learning. We plan activities that challenge and extend childrens understanding and help them to be independent learners who are willing to have a go and try out new ideas.
