**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY VIRTUE OF BEING DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING IN ENGLAND AND WALES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO:1.1. FURTHERING THE EDUCATION AND AWARENESS OF THE PUBLIC WITH REGARD TO THE NEEDS OF THOSE IN NEED BY VIRTUE OF BEING DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING;1.2. PROVIDING SPECIALIST, LANGUAGE ACCESSIBLE, BESPOKE SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO HELP THOSE IN NEED BY VIRTUE OF BEING DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING; 1.3. PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR EDUCATION, RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME FACILITIES TO THOSE IN NEED BY VIRTUE OF BEING DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, WHETHER WITHIN A FORMAL COMMUNITY CENTRE SETTING OR OTHERWISE; AND1.4. SUPPORTING AND/OR ADVOCATING FOR THOSE IN NEED BY VIRTUE OF BEING DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING TO MAXIMISE OPPORTUNITY, INDEPENDENCE, AUTONOMY AND WELFARE WITHIN THAT COMMUNITY

The objects of the CIO are the relief of those in need by virtue of being deaf or hard of hearing in England and Wales for the public benefit, in particular but not limited to:1.1.1. furthering the education and awareness of the public with regard to the needs of those in need by virtue of being deaf or hard of hearing;1.1.2. the provision of specialist, language accessible, bespoke
