Activities

To provide low cost or free of charge refurbished bikes to people in need or to help relieve car usage on the roads. To help people to gain confidence in cycling by providing a range of accompanied cycle rides, maintenance courses and Dr bike sessions.

Objects: 1. To Relieve The Financial Hardship, Primarily But Not Exclusively Of Those In Yate, Chipping Sodbury And Surrounding Communities In South Gloucestershire, In Particular By Providing Access To Free Or Low Cost Refurbished Bicycles And Associated Equipment/accessories To Those Individuals Who Cannot Afford Them.2. The Promotion Of Community Participation In Healthy Recreation For The Benefit Of The Inhabits Of Primarily But Not Exclusively Of Those In Yate, Chipping Sodbury And Surrounding Communities In South Gloucestershire, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:a) Provision Of Lending Bicycles, Associated Items And Equipment For An Agreed Period Of Time To Them To Enable Them To Cycle And Have Access To The Benefits Of Cycling;b) Training, Resources And Educational Activities To Promote The Benefits Of Cycling And;c) Acting As Advocates On Behalf Of The Local Community To Improve Local Infrastructure To Support Increased Cycling.
