Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are: 3.1 The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty In The UK And/or Anywhere In The World By: 3.1.1 The Provision Of Monetary Grants, Payments, Items And Services To Individuals In Need And/or Charities Or Other Organisations Working To Prevent Or Relieve Poverty; 3.1.2 The Collection, Provision And Use Of Zakat, Sadaqah, Lillah And Other Funds From And For All Communities, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions; 3.2 The Relief Of Financial Hardship, Either Generally Or Individually, Of People Living In The UK And/or Anywhere In The World (and In Particular Muslims) By Making Grants Of Money For Providing Or Paying For Items, Services Or Facilities; 3.3 The Relief Of Those In Need By Way Of Youth, Age, Ill-Health, Disability, Financial Hardship Or Other Disadvantage, Including But Not Limited To By: 3.3.1 Developing The Capacity And Skills Of Members Of The Community (in Particular The Muslim Community) In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify And Help Meet, Their Able To Meet Their Needs, Build Skills, Knowledge And Resilience To Become Socially And Economically Active; 3.3.2 Promoting, Organising And Facilitating Co-Operation And Partnership Working Between Charitable And Voluntary Organisations And Statutory And Other Relevant Bodies; 3.3.3 Providing Advice And Information On Housing, Debt Management And Welfare Benefits; 3.3.4 The Provision Of Facilities For Supported Or Assisted Living, Recreation Or Other Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Those Persons; 3.4 To Promote Zakat, Sadaqah, Lillah And Voluntary Giving; 3.5 The Advancement Of Education, Training, Employment And Enterprise Skills Of Those In The Community Who Are In Need Thereof So As To Advance Then In Life And Assist Them To Adapt Within The Wider Community; 3.6 The Advancement Of Health Through Promoting The Preservation Of Good Physical And Mental Health; And 3.7 The Advancement Of Such Other Charitable Purposes As May From Time To Time Be Determined And Agreed By The Trustees.
