**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF BELIEFS IN THE SCHEDULE HERETO, PRIMARILY IN THE EAST MIDLANDS AND ALSO IN OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND FURTHER AFIELD AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. THIS OBJECT WILL BE ACHIEVED MAINLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, (A) BY DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE AND OTHER MATERIAL ON CHRISTIANITY FREELY TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC, (B) BY PREACHING AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CHRISTIANITY; AND (C) BY ACTS OF KINDNESS TO THOSE IN EVIDENT NEED AS A PRACTICAL EXPRESSION OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH.
