To relieve poverty and financial hardship in East Africa, primarily western Kenya, by supporting early childhood development centres; primary, secondary, vocational and university education; medical centre and healthcare projects; capacity-building and peer education; and programmes that enable individuals to generate sustainable incomes and become self-reliant.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are, For The Public Benefit And Within A Christian Ethos, To Relieve Poverty And Financial Hardship In East Africa, Primarily In Kenya And Tanzania, By:a. Supporting And Overseeing The Operation Of Medical Centres And Healthcare Projects;b. Supporting And Overseeing The Operation Of Early Childhood Development Centres;c. Providing Or Funding Programmes That Enable Individuals To Generate A Sustainable Income And Become Self-Sufficient;d. Supporting The Provision Of Education And Vocational Training;e. Undertaking Such Other Exclusively Charitable Activities As The Trustees May From Time To Time Determine.
