**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO, TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN SOUTHERN AFRICA, ARE:A) THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH BY MAKING GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORK OF ORGANISATIONS THAT ARE INVOLVED IN THE SUPPLY OF CLEAN WATER THROUGH BOREHOLE PROVISION AND IMPROVEMENT AND MONITORING OF WATER QUALITY, ESPECIALLY IN RURAL AREAS IN SOUTHERN AFRICA.B) THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT BY MAKING GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORK OF ORGANISATIONS INVOLVED IN IMPROVING BIODIVERSITY IN THE ZAMBEZI RIVER RIPARIAN AREAS OF SOUTHERN AFRICA; NAMELY ANGOLA, BOTSWANA, MALAWI, MOZAMBIQUE, NAMIBIA, ZAMBIA AND ZIMBABWE.

**Activities:** Supporting Clean Water Objectives - The advancement of health by partnering with organisations that are involved in the supply of clean water through borehole provision and improvement and monitoring of water quality especially in rural areas in Southern Africa. And the advancement of environmental protection by making donations to organisations involved in improving biodiversity in the Zambezi.
