Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1)to Relieve The Needs Of Patients Diagnosed With Breast Cancer Withinsomerset By Supporting Group Members With Monthly Meetings & Socialactivities, Working Closely With Our Local Hospitals With An Aim To Signpost Members To The Correct Support Agencies & Medical Teams, Invitingregular Guest Speakers To Group Meetings Which Includes Health Careprofessionals & Outside Agencies That Offer Products & Services That Aresuitable For The Group Members Who Have Had A Breast Cancer Diagnosis.(2)to Preserve And Protect Good Health For The Public Benefit By Promotingthe Need For Breast Screening.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008].
