## **Objectives and activities**
The CIO registered on 28 May 2025 to continue the charitable purposes of Penrith Mountain Rescue Team (Registered Charity No. 505809). During the period ended 31 December 2025 the transfer of the predecessor charity's assets, liabilities and operations had not taken place. Consequently the CIO undertook no charitable activities.
## **Financial review**
The charity received no income, incurred no expenditure and held no assets or liabilities during the period. Accordingly, net income for the year was £nil and total funds at 31 December 2025 were £nil.
## **Going concern**
The trustees consider the going concern basis of preparation to be appropriate as the transfer of the predecessor charity's activities was planned following the year end.

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102 and the Charities SORP. The CIO had no financial transactions during the period because the transfer from the predecessor charity had not taken place by the balance sheet date.

## **5. Subsequent event**
Following the year end, the assets and activities of Penrith Mountain Rescue Team (Registered Charity No. 505809) were transferred to the CIO. No adjustment has been made because the transfer occurred after the reporting date.
