Objects: The Objects Of The CIO, Which Are For The Public Benefit And To Be Carried Out In Birmingham, Are:(1) To Act As A Resource For Young People Up To The Age Of 30 By Providing Advice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Physical, Educational And Other Activities As A Means Of:a) Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;b) Advancing Education;c) Relieving Unemployment;d) Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare With A View To Improving Their Conditions Of Life.(2) To Provide And Assist In Providing Facilities For Sport, Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Persons Who Have Need For Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interest Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life.
