**Objects:** THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN WHITCHURCH (SHROPSHIRE) AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS OR SUCH WIDER AREA AS MAY SEEM APPROPRIATE FROM TIME TO TIME BY PROVIDING GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY AND IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING EMERGENCY FOOD SUPPLIES AND TO HELP THOSE IN CRISIS INCLUDING SIGNPOSTING TO OTHER AGENCIES.

**Activities:** The Foodbank provides 7 days emergency food to those in crisis that live within the town and surrounding area. Food is provided upon securing an authorised voucher. These vouchers are issued by &#x27;Care Professionals&#x27; such as Doctors, Health Visitors, etc.. Over 70 different Referral organisations are currently registered. Foodbank operates twice a week with a paid Project Leader  &amp;amp; 40 volunteers.
