Activities

The charity activities focus on education:- For children from either refugee, rural or low income families; so we build long-term partnerships with a primary school (Jamaica) and a basic education school (Kenya) to provide scholarships, educational supplies and resources for projects- We also work with communities & churches in the UK to deliver health education and well-being sessions.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO, To Be Carried Out For The Public Benefit Within A Christian Ethos, Are: 1) The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty And The Advancement Of Education Among Children Aged 3-11, Who Are Either Orphaned Or From Low-Income Households, In Kenya (East Africa) And Jamaica By The Provision Of Such Scholarships As The Trustees Shall Determine On An Annual Basis Enabling Such Children To Receive A Reasonable Standard Of Education And Improve Their Standards Of Living.2) The Advancement Of Education In Kenya (East Africa) And Jamaica By Providing Grants Of Financial Assistance To Such Schools As The Trustees Shall Determine To Support The Provision Of Teaching And Learning Resources And Infrastructure Projects.3) The Preservation And Protection Of Good Health In The UK Among The African And Caribbean Diaspora To Promote Health Awareness And Education, With A Particular Focus On Prostate Cancer, Breast Cancer, Diabetes And Heart Disease Within The Respective Communities. * For The Purpose Of This Clause: The Term ‘Scholarships’ Means Providing Financial Support To Two Named Individuals (A Boy And A Girl) Each Year To Cover The First Year At High School - School Fees, Uniform And The Necessary Stationery.
