Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:a) For The Benefit Of The Public, In Any Part Of The World, To Relieve The Suffering Of Animals In Need Of Care And Attention And, In Particular, To Provide And Maintain, Or Assist In The Provision And Maintenance Of, Facilities For The Reception, Care And Treatment Of Such Animals.b) To Promote Humane Behaviour Towards Animals, In Any Part Of The World And To Educate The Public In Matters Pertaining To Animal Welfare In General And The Prevention Of Cruelty And Suffering Among Animals.c) To Act As A Worldwide Resource For Young People By Providing Advice And Assistance, And Organising Programmes Of Physical, Educational And Other Activities As A Means Of:(i) Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;(ii) Advancing Education;(iii) Relieving Unemployment; And(iv) Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare For People Living In The Area Of Benefit Who Have Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Such Persons.d) To Relieve Financial Hardship, Sickness And Poor Health Amongst Elderly People Worldwide.
