**Objects:** TO PROMOTE EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND IN PARTICULAR THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR GENDER IDENTITY IN CHIPPING NORTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS BY DELIVERING AN ANNUAL PRIDE EVENT AND HOLDING AND SUPPORTING OTHER EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR IN ORDER TO ELIMINATE DISCRIMINATION AND ADVANCE EDUCATION AND AWARENESS IN EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
