**Objects:** IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, TO IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF:(A) A VILLAGE HALL FOR USE BY INHABITANTS, INCLUDING USE FOR:(I) MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND(II)OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION; AND(B) A RECREATION GROUND FOR USE BY THE INHABITANTS OF SHREWTON.

**Activities:** The purpose of the Hall and its Grounds was started in 1948, when it was set up to be of benefit to the entire community, and that continues to be the objective today. We operate from Shrewton Village Hall, Mill Lane in Shrewton. The charity is managed via monthly meetings of the trustees, volunteers and representations from the user group, focusing on fundraising, facilities, hall and grounds.
