The Herbert Austin Legacy Awards Trust raises money in order to offer financial assistance to educational establishments in the West Midlands to provide monetary prizes to students of engineering and STEM subjects who have distinguished themselves in their courses. The subscribers to the trust are mainly ex apprentices and staff who worked at Longbridge and other friends and family.
Objects: For The Public Benefit, To Advance Education In Science, Technology, Engineering, And Mathematics (stem) Courses In Schools And Institutions Of Higher And Further Education By The Provision Of Prizes For Excellence And Outstanding Performance, And By The Provision Of Grants And Funds For Additional Educational Activities At Such Institutions.
