**undertake creative, physical or**
**recreational activities, learn or pass on**
**skills and knowledge, and support each**
**other socially. Predominately we are a**

**site of the local hospital. It was started**
**with a handful of members and grew**
**considerably. In 2021 it moved to its**
**current location.**
**Over the following years, demand**
**increased to a point where there was a**
**waiting list. It was decided that proactive**
**action needed to be taken and a second**
**premises was identified and opened in**
**April 2025. This is a smaller workshop**
**but has the added benefit that members**
**can also work in the garden if they**
**prefer to.**
**Some of the projects worked on in the**
**first 6 months of becoming a charity**
**include:**

**Supporting the local Hospice with**
**ongoing work in their garden of**
**remembrance.**

**Mobile sweet trolley for the local**
**hospital**

**Display stand and counter for a**
**local florist**
•

**Remembrance Day ‘Tommys’.**
**We also advertise online and individuals**
**can request items to be made.**
**The local council runs networking**
**groups, and we get together to see how**
**we can support each other**
**We take part in a local repair shop and**
**actively support the charity Macmillan**
**by participating in their coffee mornings.**
**This year we were proud to support**
**Remembrance Day by laying a wreath in**
