The objects of the charity are: the relief of financial hardship by providing almshouse accommodation to persons living in the Amersham and Coleshill area of Buckinghamshire; the advance of education of persons under the age of 21 living in the same area by the making of small grants; and the relief of financial hardship to persons living in the same area by the making of small grants.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are: 1 The Relief Of Financial Hardship, In Particular By Providing Almshouse Housing Accommodation Which They Would Not Otherwise Afford Through Lack Of Means To Single People Resident In The Following Areas (Provided In Exceptional Circumstances That The Trustees May Offer Accommodation To Persons Outside Of Such Areas) And Considering Applications In The Following Order Of Priority:- The Parish Of Amersham With Coleshill In The County Of Buckinghamshire;- The Ancient Parish Of Lee;- The Surrounding Area; And- In Respect Of Potential Residents Of The Day?s Almshouses, In Addition To The Above Criteria, Giving Priority To Members Of The Church Of England; 2 To Advance Education Of Persons Under The Age Of 21 Who Are In Need Of Financial Assistance And Are Resident In The Parish Of Amersham With Coleshill (Or In Exceptional Circumstances At The Discretion Of The Trustees, Young Persons Who Are Temporary Residents In Such Area Or Resident Outside Such Area), In Particular By Providing Such Persons With Grants, Providing Or Paying For Services Or Facilities For Them Or Making Grants To Other Persons Or Bodies Who Provide Goods, Services Or Facilities To Them; And3 The Relief Of Financial Hardship Among Poor Persons Who Are In Need Of Financial Assistance And Are Resident In The Parish Of Amersham With Coleshill (Or In Exceptional Circumstances At The Discretion Of The Trustees, Who Are Temporary Residents In Such Area Or Resident Outside Such Area) Who, In The Opinion Of The Trustees, Are In Need, Hardship Or Distress, In Particular By Providing Such Persons With Grants, Providing Or Paying For Services Or Facilities For Them Or Making Grants To Other Persons Or Bodies Who Provide Goods, Services Or Facilities To Them.
