**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE CONSERVATION OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE ANCIENT WOODLAND IN AND AROUND LEATHER LANE, HP16 9LT, LOCATED WITHIN THE CHILTERNS AREA OF OUTSTANDING NATURAL BEAUTY / NATIONAL LANDSCAPE, BY:A) CONSERVING BATS AS A PROTECTED SPECIES, INCLUDING THE RARE AND ENDANGERED BARBASTELLE BAT, AND THEIR HABITATS WITHIN THE ANCIENT WOODLAND; B) CONSERVING THE FLORA, FAUNA AND BIODIVERSITY OF THE ANCIENT WOODLAND;C) ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE FLORA, FAUNA AND BIODIVERSITY OF THE ANCIENT WOODLAND;D) CONDUCTING RESEARCH INTO THE FLORA, FAUNA AND BIODIVERSITY OF THE ANCIENT WOODLAND AND THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE CONSERVATION MEASURES ADOPTED, THE USEFUL RESULTS OF WHICH WILL BE PUBLISHED;E) WORKING TOWARDS THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A DESIGNATED CONSERVATION AREA WITHIN THE ANCIENT WOODLAND.
