**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE FRIENDS ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:(1) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF PORTBURY WHARF NATURE RESERVE, INCLUDING THE AREAS KNOWN AS THE ECOLOGY PARK AND THE PORTBURY WHARF SALTMARSH AS A PLACE OF ECOLOGICAL INTEREST AND BEAUTY;(2) TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION OF THE NATURAL PLANT, ANIMAL AND BIRD LIFE OF THE RESERVE; (3) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE BIODIVERSITY, NATURAL HISTORY AND OTHER ASPECTS OF THE RESERVE.

**Activities:** To make information about Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve (PWNR) and its wildlife available to the public and raise awareness of the local and wider public to the value of PWNR both as a key site of wildlife and conservation importance and as a valued public amenity and to promote it as such. To develop an income stream through donations, grants and fund-raising activities to realise our aims.
