## **Churchwardens Report 2025** 

Another busy year had taken place. Coffee, cake and chat continue to thrive. A concert was held at the Church which was well attended and enjoyed. On the first Wednesday of the Summer Holidays a Teddy Bears Picnic was held during CCC. It was a beautiful summers day, and we had Teddies abseiling from the Church Tower. It was well attended and the children enjoyed it. We had another equally well attended and enjoyed Harvest Supper kindly hosted by Lesley and Niven Last. Our next big fundraising event was at Christmas when a Living Nativity took place in the Church, complete with animals. Again, this was well attended, and all appeared to enjoy the experience. We held our usual Christmas Eve Candlelit Service and again people came and filled our Church to overflowing. Plough Sunday followed Christmas and in the February half term, the church was transformed to Narnia, where children were able to walk through the wardrobe and meet the White Witch and Aslam.
