Actvites and the Creaton of Public Beneft
During this period, the Head Shack has focussed primarily on providing support to other charities providing services in the North East of England. We have provided support to:

5 existing charities, ranging from leadership coaching, board effectiveness and managing significant change, These charities provided benefit to children and young people, including young people in excluded groups, people with dementia, people with learning disabilities, and people experiencing poverty.

2 individuals looking to set up charitable or community organisations with developing a business strategy and navigating the process of establishing a charity, aiming to provide benefits to people with brain tumours and their families, and to excluded communities respectively.

Direct coaching support to one individual looking to maintain their professional status while managing complex disabilities.
Trustee Statement on Public Beneft
The trustees confirm that they have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit and are satisfied that the charity’s activities during this period have delivered clear and demonstrable public benefit.
