CIO- Charitable Aims "The advancement of the art of music and the art of performance forthe benefit of the residents of Redhill, Merstham, Earlswood, Horley and Reigate, in particular but not exclusively through the commissioning and production of public performances and material, using music, visual arts and other performance related art forms as well as provision of workshops and training for those working in the arts. Including regular communications with Reigate and Banstead Borough Council Officers and Councillors Promoted Unit 5 as a Venue, successfully encouraged Council to use it as a Community Music and Performing Arts venue in their future plans. Financial Unrestricted funds can be used at the discretion of the Trustees for the Charitable objectives of the Charity. At 31" December 2025, total reserves were £1,374.60 all of which is unrestricted. Redstart Community CIO is committed to having adequate reserves to meet its obligations. None of the Trustees were renumerated other than for direct charity expenses by the Charity and the Charity had no employees in the period. Julain Mills is also a director of Bluefin Workshop and Events Limited who provided PA equipment on multiple occasions though the period, total value of £1,125 Page14 Redstart Community CIO Charity Number. 1212618 Volunteers The Trustees are extremely grateful for the work of the Volunteers. The Charity relies upon Volunteers and the work they do to help create the events and the general music scene in the community. Each event needs around 8 volunteers to run. The impact of the Volunteers has enabled Redstart to run Mall Sessions and thus fully add to the public Benefit of the Charity. A Trustee is responsible for recruiting and ensuring trustees understand the objectives and structures pf the Charity. The Future Redstart Community expects to continue the Mall Sessions into 2026 as long as the stage is available. We also expect to promote additional shows. The Trustees are working on new projects such as a community Venue, a community festival which rely on funding and working with groups of Musicians to encourage local cohesion for music provision and events. The Trustees also aim to encourage the linking of local music projects through a single website to communicate to the local community. As Income for Charity is under £25,000 the accounts have not been checked by an independent assessor.
