The River Summit & Festival promotes the conservation, protection, and improvement of river environments by hosting events, supporting conservation initiatives, developing sustainability guidelines, conducting river health assessments, and educating the public on the importance of healthy river ecosystem

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO (Objects) Are, For The Benefit Of The Public, To:(a) Promote The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment In Relation To Rivers; And (B) Educate The Public About River Ecosystems And Their Health, Sustainability And Importance To The Physical And Natural Environment, In Particular (But Not Exclusively) By:(i) Organising Regular Summits And Festivals Which Bring Together Environmental Leaders, Policymakers, Scientists, Activists And Community Members To Discuss And Develop Solutions To The Conservation Challenges Facing River Ecosystems;(ii) Undertaking, Supporting, Promoting And Sponsoring Activities And Initiatives Which Directly Contribute To River Conservation; And(iii) Developing River Sustainability Guidelines, Conducting River Health Assessments And Supporting River Conservation Initiatives At A Local Level.
