Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are For The Public Benefit Of People In South Gloucestershire, Bristol And The Surrounding Areas:-1) The Advancement Of The Hindu Religion By Holding Of Prayer Meetings, Lectures, Public Celebration Of Religious Festivals, Producing And Distributing Literature On Hinduism To Inform And Enlighten Others About The Hindu Religion;2) To Advance Hindy Art, Culture And Heritage By Organising Events On Scriptures, Art, Culture And Traditions Related To The Hindu Religion;3) To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Education, Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Residents, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions.in Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power:to Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain Or Manage Or Co-Operate With Any Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The Charity In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008].
