**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF ANIMALS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION AND, IN PARTICULAR, TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN RESCUE HOMES OR OTHER FACILITIES AND ASSISTANCE FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH ANIMALS AND FERAL ANIMAL CONTROL THROUGH STERILIZATION AND ANIMAL BIRTH CONTROL (ABC) AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS. ANIMALS MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO DOGS, CATS HORSES, DONKEYS, GOATS AND CHICKENS.

**Activities:** We support dog shelters by providing funding to assist with their daily operations, as well as neutering programs and veterinary care for sick or injured stray and feral dogs. In countries with large stray dog populations, we promote and support TNVTR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Tag, and Return). This is to reduce the number of stray dogs that there are in a humane and ethical way.
