**Objects:** Promoting the participation of children and young people in Hartlepool in sports and recreational activities, including but not limited to, sailing and rugby union, on an amateur basis for the public benefit by assisting in the provision of coaching, administrative support and providing grants and operational facilities in the furtherance of that purpose

**Activities:** The charity is being founded to encourage the participation of Hartlepool schoolchildren in amateur sport. The trustees will use that principle to decide on beneficiaries. The trustees will rely on the local authority's School Games Organiser to put forward the children who will take part. The trustees of the foundation will engage directly with the representatives of the schools in the area
