Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:the Promotion Of Human Rights, Specifically Article 14 Of The European Convention Of Human Rights, And The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity In Relation To The Gypsy, Roma And Traveller Communities In The UK For The Public Benefit By:(a) The Elimination Of Discrimination On The Grounds Of Race, Ethnicity And Religion Through Promoting And Advocating For The Rights And Equality Of The Gypsy, Roma And Traveller Community;(b) Promoting Activities To Foster Understanding Between People From Diverse Backgrounds; Specifically, The Gypsy, Roma And Traveller Community;(c) Advancing Education And Raising Awareness In Equality And Diversity For The Gypsy, Roma And Traveller Community Through The Use Of Multimedia Approaches, Such As, An Online Magazine, Podcast And Educational Workshops;(d) Tackling And Redressing The Misrepresentation Of The Gypsy, Roma And Traveller Community In The Media;(e) Providing Educational Workshops On Media Creation And Media Reporting On The Gypsy, Roma And Traveller Community To Ensure Accurate And Responsible Journalism;(f) Promoting The Arts, Culture And Heritage Of The Gypsy, Roma And Traveller Community Through Delivering Informed Content And Events For The General Public To Celebrate The Rich Cultural Heritage, Traditions, And Achievements Of Gypsy, Roma And Traveller Communities.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008].
