Objects: The Objects Of The CIO, To Be Carried Out For The Public Benefit In Leeds, And Such Other Parts Of The United Kingdom And Africa As The Trustees Shall Determine, Are:1) To Advance In Life, Relieve The Needs Of And Help Young People Through:(a) The Provision Of Recreational And Leisure Time Activities Provided In The Interest Of Social Welfare, Designed To Improve Their Conditions Of Life;(b) Providing Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals.2) The Advancement Of The Faith And Religious Practices Of Islam In Accordance With The Qur‘an And The Sunnah Amongst Children And Young People, Through The Provision Of Quran Classes, Islamic Arts And Crafts Workshops And Storytelling Sessions About The Prophets Designed To Teach Young People About Islamic Values And Principles.3) The Preservation And Protection Of The Physical And Mental Health Of Women And Girls, By Collaborating With Communities, Health Professionals, Statutory Agencies And Charitable And Not For Profit Organisations To Eradicate The Practice Of Female Genital Mutilation (fgm) Through Campaigning And Education Designed To Raise Awareness Of Fgm And Its Associated Dangers And Risks.
