(277 participants)<br>Attendees and participants at these events<br>and programmes  are now aware of the<br>value of bees to their own lives, the plants<br>that they can grow to provide suitable forage<br>and the actions that they can take to  report<br>sightings of Asian Hornets and their nests to|

ensure that they can be effectively destroyed in order to protect the lives of bees and other pollinators. Throughout the summer and early autumn, information displays and presentations were also provided at the major rural shows and farmers’ markets across the county to raise the general public’s awareness or these issues.
