**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND, IN PARTICULAR, THE EDUCATION OF OLDER PEOPLE AND THOSE WHO ARE RETIRED FROM FULL TIME WORK BY ALL MEANS, INCLUDING ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.

**Activities:** The u3a is member led and member run Charity organisation based on the principles of life long learning, self help and social engagement for older people. Most of the activities are within small Groups and are run by the members for the members.  There are Discussion Groups, Activity Groups, Speakers Meetings and Outings to places of interest. The aim for the u3a is to " Learn, laugh, live" .
