Support Through Sport, founded in 2021, is a charity dedicated to empowering disadvantaged young people, 8-18, in underserved communities via sport, mentoring and youth work. Focused on violence prevention and sport-based intervention, positively impacting young people across the Midlands, addressing issues such as youth offending, violence, anti-social behaviour and knife crime.
Objects: To Advance In Life And Relieve Needs Of Children And Young People, Including But Not Exclusively By:(a) Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities So That They May Realise Their Full Potential As Independent, Mature And Responsible Members Of Society; And(b) Providing Facilities And Activities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Their Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life.
