Activities

We support African women and low income families, including asylum seekers, by providing culturally sensitive mental health support, peer groups, and wellbeing activities. We reduce isolation through community events and offer integration support such as language practice, skills training, and advocacy. Our work empowers women and girls to build confidence, resilience, and independence in the UK.

Objects: To Promote Social Inclusion Among Those Seeking Asylum Or Granted Refugee Status, Their Dependents And The Wider African Communities Living In The North East Of England Who Are Socially Excluded On The Grounds Of Their Social And Economic Position For The Public Benefit By Preventing People From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society.
