Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are, For The Public Benefit:1. To Advance Education In African History And In Particular Ethiopian History And Heritage By:• Organising Workshops, Seminars, And Courses On African And Ethiopian History• Collaborating With Educational Institutions To Integrate African History Into Their Curricula, Providing Resources, Materials, And Training To Teachers• Working With Museums, Libraries, And Cultural Institutions To Preserve And Display African And Ethiopian Artifacts, Manuscripts, And Art• Initiating Projects To Record And Document Oral Histories, Traditional Practices, And Other Forms Of Intangible Heritage• Promoting Projects To Protect And Conserve Important Cultural And Historical Sites In Ethiopia And Other African Countries.2. To Promote Social Inclusion Among African Asylum Seekers And Refugees Who Are Socially Excluded On The Grounds Of Their Social And Economic Position, By Providing:• Events That Bring People Together To Celebrate And Learn About African Cultures, Helping Foster Understanding And Inclusion• Language Classes And Workshops On British Citizenship• Practical Advice, Assistance And Support.3. To Relieve Poverty Among Immigrant And Refugee Communities In The UK By Providing Financial Assistance And Facilitating Access To Legal Advice, Employment, And Education.
