We promote swimming excellence, inclusivity, fun, discipline and life skills. We offer structured training, community engagement, and charitable initiatives and rely on fundraising. Our mission is to foster teamwork, inclusivity and discipline, improving fitness, to enhance the lives of the community. We also offer training and volunteering opportunities in our coaching program for anyone over 14.

Objects: 3. Objects3.1 The Objects Of The CIO Are:(a) The Promotion Of Community Participation In Healthy Recreation, Primarily But Not Exclusively,for The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Burnham-On-Sea And The Surrounding Areas By The Provision Of Teaching / Development / Competitive Activities Of Swimming.3.2 In The Furtherance Of These Objects:(a) The CIO Is Committed To Treat Everyone Equally Within The Context Of Its Activity And With Due Respect To The Differences Of Individuals. This Shall Be, For Example, Regardless Of Age, Sex, Ethnic Origin, Religion, Disability Or Political Persuasion, On Any Grounds.(b) The CIO Shall Not Apply Nor Endorse Unlawful Or Unjustified Discrimination And Shall Act In Compliance With The Protections Afforded By The Equality Act 2010 (As May Be Amended From Time To Time).(c) The CIO Shall Implement The Swim England Equality Policy (As May Be Amended From Time To Time).(d) The CIO Will Comply With The Data Protection Act 2018 (As May Be Amended From Time To Time).
