(1) To promote the efficiency of the Armed Forces of the Crown in particular, but not exclusively, by providing facilities for, and promoting participation in, gliding and soaring by members of the British Army (and other members of the Armed Forces) in order to:(a) develop individual skills, resilience and confidence;(b) encourage esprit de corps; and(c) promote the health and welfare
