**Space 2 Talk (S2T) – Chairmans Annual Report Year End: 2025** 

## **Review of Activities and Achievements** 

The year 2025 marked a significant milestone for S2T, representing its first full year operating as a registered charity. Following extensive preparatory work undertaken during 2024, charitable status was formally approved by the Charity Commission, enabling S2T to begin 2025 with a clear governance structure and renewed purpose. 

Throughout the year, trustees played an active role in ensuring effective governance, compliance, and strategic development, while also supporting the delivery and expansion of charitable activities. S2T continued to work collaboratively with a growing number of partner organisations, charities, and community groups. 

S2T supported explorer Dan Eggington during 2025, following his ongoing expeditions in South America and the Congo, alongside training activities across Northern Scandinavian countries. This work reinforced S2T’s ethos around resilience, challenge, and the connection between outdoor activity and mental wellbeing. 

During 2025, S2T delivered 30 planned events across a wide geographical area, reaching communities as far north as Cumbria and as far south as Hampshire. Activities included Walk & Talk sessions, Nordic walking, taster sessions, cycling events, and wellbeing walks. S2T also supported a local climate-focused community event, reflecting the charity’s commitment to wellbeing, connection, and environmental awareness.
