**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE USE OF RESOURCES FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES BY CHARITABLE AND NON-CHARITABLE BODIES WITHIN THE BLACK COUNTRY BY ENABLING THEM TO WORK MORE COHESIVELY TOGETHER IN ORDER THAT THEY CAN BETTER MEET THE NEEDS OF THEIR BENEFICIARIES. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE, BLACK COUNTRY IS DEFINED AS THE BOROUGHS OF DUDLEY, SANDWELL, WALSALL AND WOLVERHAMPTON.

**Activities:** Black Country Together attracts, secures and manages programmes of funding within the areas of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton to enable charities and not-for-profit community organisations to support residents wellbeing. It also facilitates community/ charity leaders engagement with statutory/ health leaders in order to advocate for community needs and influence decision-making.
