ObjectsThe objects of the CIO are:a. to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs appearing in the schedule hereto in Wigan, Leigh, Bolton and other parts of Lancashire and Greater Manchester and in such other parts of the United Kingdom as the trustees may from time to time think fit and any other purposes which are exclusively charitable and are connected with the charitable work of the Charity.b. to relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods and/or services of any kind, including the provision of counselling and support.Nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the CIO for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and section 2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
