SECTION 3: OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

Summary of Objects: To provide logistical, transport, and emergency communication assistance using 4x4 vehicles for the benefit of the public, emergency services, and local authorities during severe weather, civil emergencies, or times of need in the North East of England.

Attended a number of public events and shows to publicize the organization's capabilities, raise awareness, fundraise, and recruit new volunteers.

Held a very successful inaugural live communications, coordination, and navigation exercise as part of the “Hamsterley Beast” Mountain biking event in May 2025 working with event organizers, participants, competitors, and members of the public to provide responder training, logistical support, and generate fundraising income.

Provided vital vehicle movement, coordination, and marshaling support to regional community events, including the Slaley Show and the Simonside Show, ensuring smooth public access, testing our team’s operational logistics capabilities, and generating fundraising income.
SECTION 5: FINANCIAL REVIEW

Policy on Reserves: The charity aims to hold a small operational reserve to cover basic insurance and administrative software costs to ensure continuity of emergency response capabilities.

Financial Performance Summary: Total gross income for the initial setup period was £1,145. Total operational expenditure was £2,467, resulting in a net operational deficit of £1,322 which was successfully o�set by internal trustee setup funding.
SECTION 6: STATUTORY NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS
- Note 1: Related Party Transactions and Control Accounts In January 2025, a temporary control account float of £2,500.00 was transferred to Trustee Gavin Du�y. This was implemented as a temporary emergency mechanism to maintain critical operational access to emergency response funds while the charity's o�icial bank mandates, dual-signatory authorities, and digital banking credentials were being processed. This transaction did not constitute operational charity expenditure, and no remuneration or personal benefit was provided. The float was fully repatriated to the primary CIO bank account in its entirety on 1 December 2025.
