**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND, IN PARTICULAR, THE EDUCATION OF OLDER PEOPLE AND THOSE WHO ARE RETIRED FROM FULL TIME WORK BY ALL MEANS, INCLUDING ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.

**Activities:** The U3A is a member led charity that is focused on participative learning for people in their third age. Most of the educational activities are run in small groups and are run by the members for the members. The structure and content includes seminars, workshops, discussion groups, speaker meetings and activity groups.
