Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is:to Relieve The Needs Of Visually Impaired People Who Live Within West Cumbria And The Surrounding Area, By:a) Helping Visually Impaired People Of All Ages To Live Independently;b) Providing Information And Advice To Visually Impaired People And To Their Families And Carers;c) Providing Visually Impaired People With A Range Of Welfare Support, Social Activities And Access To Specialist Equipment;d) Promoting Awareness Of Sight Loss Issues To Encourage Inclusion Within Our Community.
