Objects: The Object Of The CIO, To Be Carried Out For The Public Benefit In Walsall, Is:to Relieve The Needs Of Adults Affected By Substance And Alcohol Misuse Or Addiction Through The Provision Of Support, Advice And Information Designed To Reduce Drug And Alcohol Related Harm, Improve The Physical And Mental Health And Wellbeing Of Such Individuals And To Assist Them To Integrate Into Society, In Such Ways As The Trustees Think Fit, And In Particular But Not Exclusively By:a) Establishing A Drop-In Centre To Provide The Following:• Peer Led Group And One To One Support Focussing On Self-Help, Mutual Aid, Listening And Development Of Coping Skills To Reduce The Harms Of Alcohol And Substance Misuse;• Practical Support, Encouragement, Advice, Including Peer Support, Advocacy, Mentoring And Signposting Services, To Assist With Finding Employment And Accommodation And Developing Life Skills And Healthy Lifestyles To Enhance Quality Of Life;• Facilities For Recreation, Social Interaction, A Foodbank And To Enable Personal Hygiene;b) Working With Other Organisations To Achieve The Objects.
