## **Summary of the objects of the charity** :

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the public benefit in Cheshire and the surrounding area through the provision of facilities to enable participation in the sport of amateur hockey.

**Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects**

The Charity did not carry out any activities during this period.

For ease of management, administration and reporting – the CIO Trustees took the decision, in consultation with the Trustees of the predecessor Unincorporated Association (Deeside Ramblers Hockey Club), that the activities, assets and liabilities of the Unincorporated Association should not be transferred to the CIO part of the way through the financial year. Instead, all of the activities, assets and liabilities were transferred to the CIO Under a Deed of Assignment with effect from 1 July 2025.

**The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit in making this declaration.**

## Section D Achievements and performance in the Period
