FONTMELL MAGNA UNDER FIVES PRE-SCHOOL
For the period ended 31 August 2025
Objectives and Activities
The charity’s objective is to advance education and promote the development and wellbeing of children of pre-school age through the provision of pre-school education and associated activities for the benefit of the local community.
The trustees have considered the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit and are satisfied that the charity’s aims are charitable and intended to provide public benefit.
Achievements and Performance
During the reporting period, the charity was in its initial establishment phase and did not undertake any operational activities.
No pre-school sessions, educational activities or other charitable services were delivered during the period. The trustees’ activities were limited to the establishment and administration of the charity in preparation for future operations.
Financial Review
The charity received no income and incurred no expenditure during the reporting period.
As at 31 August 2025, the charity had not opened a bank account and held no cash balances, investments or other assets. The charity also had no liabilities or outstanding commitments.
The charity’s total funds at the end of the reporting period were £0.
Reserves Policy
As the charity held no funds during the reporting period, no reserves were maintained. The trustees will review and adopt an appropriate reserves policy once the charity becomes operational and begins receiving income.
Risk Management
The trustees have considered the principal risks facing the charity. As the charity was not operational during the reporting period and held no funds or assets, the trustees considered the level of risk to be minimal. Appropriate governance arrangements will continue to be reviewed as the charity develops its activities.
Plans for Future Periods
The trustees intend to continue preparations for the commencement of the charity’s activities in accordance with its charitable objectives. This will include establishing the necessary operational, financial and governance arrangements required to support the future provision of pre-school education and related services.
Statement of Trustees’ Responsibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees’ Annual Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and Charity Commission requirements.
The trustees have approved this report and confirm that, to the best of their knowledge, the information contained within it is accurate and complete.
