For the benefit of those in need in Old Dean and the surrounding area we provide practical help and advice, an open access weekly food bank with occasional hot meals, an open access youth club for local teenagers, small grants to help those in need of assistance, and we run events and training to help develop the community and its capabilities.

Objects: The Charity's Objects Are1. The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty In Old Dean And The Surrounding Area By Providing: Grants, Items And Services To Individuals In Need And/or Charities, Or Other Organisations Working To Prevent Or Relieve Poverty.2. To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Old Dean And The Surrounding Area The Provision Of Facilities And Events For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities And Events By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.3. To Develop The Capacity And Skills Of The Members Of The Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Community Of The Old Dean In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify, And Help Meet, Their Needs And To Participate More Fully In Society.
